Everyone knows the Gap. Gap Maternity offers classic basics that will last you from the beginning of your pregnancy thru the first few months post baby as you’re transitioning back to your pre-baby body. The Maternity Section is a small section within the bigger box store with a limited amount of items to select from. However, one of the nice things I’ve discovered is being able to try on clothes, find out your size and order what you need online with the option of being able to return items to the store if needed.

Motherhood is like what Old Navy is to Banana Republic and the Gap. It’s the third tiered sister of the higher regarded and better quality branded stores. It carries very inexpensive maternity clothing, nursing bras, diaper bags and stretch mark prevention creams. These clothes will more than likely only last you thru one of the trimesters of your pregnancy. If you are on a tight budget, this is a great place to find a maternity wardrobe for less than $200.
