Last week I was invited to be among a select group of social media influencers to attend the Chick-fil-A Seven Corners in Falls Church to sample and taste-test their newly enhanced protein packed breakfast menu. The popular chicken chain is introducing new breakfast menu items this month in the Washington D.C. metro area as well as in New York, New Jersey, San Diego, and Columbia, South Carolina.
Breakfast has increasingly become more important in the fast food sector and is a major area in which food-service establishments have seen growth in recent years.
Our breakfast was hosted by one of my favorite DC radio personalites, Ms. Chilli Amar, from 97.1 WASH FM as well as the regional marketing team from Chick-fil-A and the owner of Chick-fil-A Seven Corners location.
Chick-fil-A’s breakfast menu currently includes a chicken biscuit, bacon or sausage with egg and cheese, breakfast burritos, a Greek yogurt parfait and a Berry Protein Blend made with chia seeds, ancient grains, mixed berries and yogurt. Aside from the parfait and Protein Blend, the Egg White Grill Bowl is the least calorie-packed offering on the breakfast menu, making it a great choice for health-conscious guests. Additionally, by adding it to the menu, Chick-fil-A became one of the first fast food chains to serve grilled chicken for breakfast.
You can order these new breakfast entrée items for a limited time, during regular breakfast hours (every morning until 10:30 am) at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants.
