If you’re visiting Washington DC and you’re looking for a metropolitan experience, I highly recommend The Fairmont. My family and I were recently invited to experience a 24 hour staycation at this incredibly beautiful hotel. There are so many things that I enjoyed about this hotel.
I love that this hotel is perfectly located and yet feels slighted tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle. The Fairmont is a perfect place to rest your head whether you’re in town for business, on a romantic getaway, on a girls’ weekend or a family vacation.
The location of this perfect hotel is absolutely perfect for those traveling for business or interested in touring Georgetown and Dupont Circle and especially those looking to tour some of the area’s universities.
Everything about The Fairmont DC exemplifies luxury. The staff is very knowledgable, friendly and warm. The service provided was impeccable. The hotel has recently undergone a huge remodel. No more stodgy traditional décor. Welcome to a newer, more modern, sleek and metropolitan hotel while you enjoy their recent renovation including a dazzling new ballroom and revitalized lobby, bar and courtyard to embody the beauty of the region, from blossoming cherry trees to the striking grid pattern upon which D.C. is built.
The hotel has one of the most impressive bars and hotel lobbies I have ever seen. It has some of the most spacious rooms ever. And it is without a doubt, the absolute quietest hotel my family and I have ever visited. It even accepts pets! We were super excited to see all of the dogs that were staying in the hotel too.
The beds were the most comfortable beds I have every experienced at a hotel. I literally melted into my bed and the kids melted into theirs.
Here’s a fun fact: The Fairmont Hotel has it’s very own beehive producing local honey used in their famous honey bread and Beetini cocktail served at the Juniper Restaurant, located inside the hotel. A relaxing visit to the hotel’s fitness center, indoor pool and serene courtyard garden also provide guests with an array of rejuvenating experiences. The finest meeting space, accommodations, and personal service will draw you back to this four-diamond, luxury Washington, D.C. hotel’s accommodations again and again.
