Visiting Washington DC this holiday? Take your family to the Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor to celebrate Christmas on the Potomac’s 45th anniversary! Explore the season’s indoor winter wonderland, featuring a retelling of the classic television special: Santa Clause is Comin’ to Town. This interactive exhibit tells the story of how Santa began giving toys to good boys and girls. There are seven chilly rooms (9 degrees to be exact), filled with two million pounds of hand-carved, colorful ice sculpture depictions of all your families’ favorite scenes! It also features five ice-slides for everyone to enjoy (adults included), as well as The Frostbite Factory – a live carving exhibit where you and your family can watch the sculptures come to life before your eyes.
The ICE! Exhibit will be open from November 21, 2015 to January 3, 2016 and is located on the Orchard Terrace of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is located at 201 Waterfront St., National Harbor, MD. Click HERE to learn more and pre-purchase tickets.
