As Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, I have been reflecting on what my mom means to me. Our relationship has changed throughout my life: from my personal stylist as a young girl to my cheerleader as a young woman to my best friend as we’ve both grown older. To me, my mom is giving. My mom just enjoys giving, no matter what the occasion. My mom gives her time, her money and simple, yet meaningful gifts to just about everyone she meets. She is always thinking of others and anticipating their needs. She is thoughtful and nurturing and takes time to get to know people.
