This season, I was lucky to partner with Chico’s on their latest Safari collection. Chico’s is a brand with a history of rich colors, prints, and unique details on tons of different pieces, so it perfectly fits into my “sensibly chic” personal style! The Safari collection is inspired by the African region of Serengeti, and I love it’s caramel and black hues, tortoiseshell accents, and utilitarian details. I wanted to show a safari-style look while accounting for my versatile personal tastes, so I chose a super-soft cardigan to wear as a top. The button-front allows it to be worn in lots of different ways, which is key for me when choosing pieces in my wardrobe.
I also thought this printed skirt was super fun, and it’s abstract pattern was the perfect complement to tie my look together. I love the pleats and midi length, which are two styles I think are universally flattering for all body types! To me, the best kinds of clothes are the ones that look great on any woman, regardless of her size or height or skin tone-so the Safari collection was perfect for my style and values. After adding some simple sandals and a fun statement necklace, I had the perfect day-to-night look-with a little utility thrown in. I love this “safari-chic” outfit, and am totally repeating it-expect to see more of it in-person soon!
Everyone who knows me also knows that I love sharing special moments with my friends and women I admire. When the opportunity came to create this fashion campaign with my good friends Alison, Sylvia and Tanvi, I knew it was the right call. All of these women are accomplished, intelligent entrepreneurs who I’ve always admired! They all live up to their reputations as women who I see empowering one another, and other women, every day. I couldn’t help but feel empowered myself when we shot these campaign photos for our blogs and Instagram, and being able to connect off-camera too. Our individual outfits were all different, but together they were united and uniquely beautiful-and isn’t that what great style is all about?
{Special Thanks to Chico’s For Partnering on this post!}
