You’re Invited: The Pirates of Penzance at Encore Stage & Studio July 19-29th

Encore Stage & Studio’s production of The Pirates of Penzance, running July 19-29 at Thomas Jefferson Community Theater starring Helen Hayes Award Winners Erin Driscoll and Chris Sizemore. 

This production runs July 19 through 29 at Thomas Jefferson Community Theatre, 125 S. Old Glebe Road, Arlington, Virginia 22204 (near the intersection of Glebe Road and Arlington Boulevard/Route 50). Recommended for ages 6 and up. Adults $15; Children, Students, and Seniors $10. Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased at http://www.encorestage.org. Group discounts are available.

Encore Stage & Studio is a non-profit children’s theatre founded in 1967. “Theatre by kids, for kids of all ages!” Our mission is to build a lifelong appreciation for live theater by involving young people in all aspects of theater arts –onstage, backstage, in the classroom, and in the audience.

You’re Invited: to a Pandora Listener Town Hall meet-up in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, June 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the National Community Church theater on Barracks Row. The get-together will be very informal. I’ll share some Pandora history, background on the Music Genome Project and talk about Pandora today. I also want to hear what’s on your mind – questions, complaints, ideas – everything is fair game.
To RSVP, just reply to this email (tour@pandora.com) – ideally by June 26th. If you plan to bring guests just let us know how many and their names.
It should be a fun evening, complete with some Pandora swag!

The production features 24 larger-than-life dragons with wingspans up to 40 feet wide that will fly and breathe fire. Characters include dragons Night Fury, Gronckle, Nadder, and Nightmare, and vikings Hiccup, Astrid, Stoick and Gobber.
