Eventbrite is an amazing online platform that helps people find events in their area and also to create events of your own. Eventbrite is a one stop shop for creating, promoting and hosting an event all while saving you time and money! I’ve used Eventbrite for several successful fitness and blogging events and I appreciate their mission: bringing people together as a community. Eventbrite offers simple, free tools to ensure a fun and successful event. You can market and and manage your own event online.
Since I’m such a huge fan of Eventbrite , I’d like to share one of my favorite local hangouts, Ted’s Bulletin Restaurant as part of Eventbrite’s Hometown Hunt.
Ted’s Bulletin is one of my favorite local DC restaurants to visit with my kids. Ted’s offers a menu filled with tons of yummy, delicious diner fare and a real family-friendly atmosphere — including a convenient early opening time of 7am. They have five DC area locations, all of them very accommodating to families with young children.
The kids menu is filled with traditional favorites including the prettiest and largest PB&J I’ve ever seen, pasta w/ butter or marinara sauce, grilled cheese, mac ‘n cheese, chicken fingers and a kid’s size burger. And for those favoring breakfast, there’s a special that includes a berry pancake and basics like scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit. Ted’s is especially recognized for their signature in-house pastries including pop-tarts and doughnuts.
All of the Ted’s locations have a small selection of toys and books for kids to play with while they wait for food. And on Saturdays, Ted’s plays cartoons on all the screens for your family’s enjoyment. Not only is Ted’s Bulletin one of my favorite places to take my family, I also enjoy date nights with husband there!
