The past few weeks have been extra busy, but thanks to Walmart I saved a couple hours today. Sometimes I think I’m going to be able to carve out some quality time to slow down and take a break, but time just continues to fly by. But, there’s always just one more thing on my to do list. Most of the time, that extra errand is running to the grocery store to pick up something. And it’s always during a time the kids are awake and have to tag along with me, all the while insisting on helping—but goofing off or fighting in the aisles and throwing stuff into the cart that I hadn’t planned on purchasing.
I finally found a solution! Try Walmart’s Free Online Grocery Pickup! Use the code MOMHACKS at Walmart.com/grocery to save $10 off your first order of $50 or more.
I’m super excited that Walmart has recently announced the launch of its new convenient and easy Online Grocery Pickup service. It allows you to shop for your groceries online on walmart.com or via the new Walmart Grocery mobile app, and have your groceries ready for pick up. That means, you just pull up to curb and someone will bring your groceries out to you. You don’t even have to get out of your car. That means less stress and more family time after school.
Now, you can shop from the comfort of your home on your home computer or even when you’re out and about by using the app on your phone. Customers simply choose a location and a time slot and a trained grocery associate will prepare your grocery order, carefully selecting each product. Then you pull into a designated online grocery pickup parking spot, call the assigned phone line and your order will be brought out to you and loaded into your car.
Not having to haul one’s children into the store with them for a big grocery run is a game changer! Parents are now able to complete their grocery shopping in a matter of minutes – between errands or on their way home from an after-school activity – without even unbuckling their seat belts. (Check out my Instastories to see what shopping used to look like before discovering this amazing service!)
Walmart’s grocery pickup service features 30,000 items, and Walmart has found that more than 90 percent of customers choose to add fresh meat, dairy or produce to their baskets. Other top items selected by grocery pickup shoppers include after-school snacks, diapers and large dog food bags. All items are priced at the same low prices customers find in their local Walmart stores.
