Getting camera ready for photoshoots, television appearances, video recorded podcasts and nightly events has become pretty routine. But there are some times when I just want to relax, feel pampered and leave it to the experts. I recently had a photoshoot with Albert “Pootie” Ting for a sponsored campaign with Lafayette 148. I worked with Duaa Rashid, a professional makeup artist who specializes in makeup for television, bridal, fashion and editorial campaigns. She does it all! She was happy to look at my ideas and put her own spin on it or provide exactly what her client wants. I usually like a really simple makeup look, but this time we focused on my eye makeup and went with something a little more feminine and pretty that would match my white flow dress from Lafayette 148 as well as the suit from Zara that I would be wearing to an event following the photoshoot.
